Shipping

Preferred shipping methods will be selected at the time of purchase by the customer. The selected method of shipping will be added to the purchase. The order will then be processed for delivery the same or next business day, depending on the time the order was placed. 

 

Orders placed after 10:00am EST will be processed next business day. Shipping times vary on the method selected and shipping company.

 

CANADIAN SHIPPING

Domestic Deliveries will include taxes and all shipping charges at checkout. Shipping options include Canada Post and UPS.

 

International orders will have the choice of UPS or USPS.

Applicable duty fees & taxes (HST/GST/PST) will be collected by the selected courier. You may pay in advance using your UPS tracking number provided or upon delivery. USPS typically has lower handling fees ranging from $0-9.95. (Taxes on shipping costs will be displayed at checkout).

US SHIPPING

Orders shipping from within the US will have the choice of Standard ($9.95) and 2-Day Shipping ($19.95). Packages over 50lbs may see additional shipping charges.

 

International orders coming from Canada will be subject to state taxes & any applicable duty fees. You may pay in advance using your tracking number provided or upon delivery.

Tackle Outdoors ships international packages to Canada with UPS, USPS or Canada Post. Shipping fees are calculated on a combined basis of weight, value and destination. Some orders are shipped in multiple parcels from multiple locations. Customer orders will be fulfilled from the closest location with the items in stock.

 

Using USPS International is typically the best for minimal or no additional fees.

 

If shipping with Canada Post, allow for an additional 1-2 business days for processing and handling times than the delivery date at checkout.

 

Shipping and Duties Policy

Your country's import duties, taxes and fees are never included in the item and shipping totals. International orders are generally subject to destination's local import duties and taxes.

If an item is out of stock or not returning to stock, then it will be removed from Tackle Outdoors product listings. If an ordered was back ordered then Tackle Outdoors will ensure full refund, or shipped next day if an arrival date is notified for the product.

 

Orders with any additional weight or large dimensions may be subject to an extra freight charge. In example, an order of multiple trolling motors/ floats may require additional fees. For bulk orders please call 1-800-295-1389 (leave a Voicemail) or e-mail info@tackleoutdoors.com. Any orders that may require additional freight/ shipping charges will be confirmed and can be charged accordingly.

 

Item Restrictions

Before completing any purchase, please check all product Specifications to make sure you're choosing compatible items that will work in your country. In addition, please confirm that your country's import rules and regulations will allow you to import the item you're purchasing.

Manufacturer or government restrictions occasionally oblige us to block certain products from shipping across borders.

 

Back Orders will be shipped UPS Ground, First Class Mail or best method available. Customer will pay shipping on any other selected method. If we receive a portion of the order, we will ship those items at the original cost of shipping or the eligible free shipping and the remaining back ordered item(s) will ship at no additional cost to the customer. Travel time depends on your location in the US/ Canada and selected method of shipping.

If an item is out of stock or not returning to stock, then it will be removed from Tackle Outdoors product listings and will be removed from your cart at checkout.

 

Free Shipping and Discount Code Offers

Items/ orders with a total actual or dimensional weight of 4.5 kg will be subject to an additional heavy/bulky charge. Free shipping does not include any additional shipping weights above 10lbs.

Free shipping codes when given out for specific products may not work if other items are in the cart of a customer’s order. These have been assigned to a certain product(s) and have been intended for single item purchases. Codes will be specific to product or product category/ collection and will work in accordance to that promotion or campaign.

Discount codes are only valid for the time offered and not valid with shipping offers. We offer discount codes to our Canadian shoppers in replacement of some free shipping offers only valid in the US.

 


Returns & Refunds

 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item, etc.).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

If your package was delivered damage, please take a picture upon arrival and contact your courier company about the issue. We are here to assist if required.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Customers requesting return/ refund, for any reasons other than an error on our behalf, may be subject to a 10% re-stocking fee and/or 10% opened box fee.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, for example:

  • Special orders
  • Illumination devices, electronic sights, night vision equipment and any optics

Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on select sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Refused or Returned Deliveries

If an order is refused or returned to us due to inaccurate or incorrect address information or because it was declined or undeliverable, Tackle Outdoors reserves the right to retain the original shipping/handling fee and to charge the payment method originally used for costs we incur related to the return of the undeliverable packages or merchandise to us.

A 15% open box fee in addition to the 20% restocking fee is in effect on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.

PLEASE NOTE:

In some scenarios the original purchaser may be required to ship the at their expense. 

When selecting a carrier for your package that you ensure the carrier offers shipment tracking to offer a safe return or declare the full value so that you are covered/ protected if the shipment is lost or damaged. The customer is responsible for the safe return of the item and any loss or damage during shipping while selecting a carrier.
